To use road cassette, you need XDR core.

If the wheel has a SRAM core/cassette system, there are no differences, 11 or 12 speeds, much less MTB or CRTA. It is 100% compatible.

I didn´t have to install any adapters. I was switching from a SRAM body for 11-42 11s cassette to this XD to mount a 9-46 11s cassette. I hope to be proved helpful. Hello
