The Minion DHRII is the Yang to the DHF´s Yin, the perfect complement, and now available for the most capable plus bikes on the market. Proven paddle knobs down the center not only provide decreased rolling resistance compared to the DHF but also offer increased braking when the trail gets loose. You may not notice it outside of the steepest terrain but those knobs allow you to brake harder in the rear to maintain your balance as you let the high volume casing absorb any trail irregularities.

Technology:
- Our EXO+ construction combines two of our best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer runs from bead-to-bead with a layer of EXO along the sidewalls. Combined, these two materials create EXO+ which improves tread puncture protection by 27%; sidewall durability by 51%; and resistance to pinch flats by 28%.
Tyre Construction:
- Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube.
- Liquid sealants should only be used in the following types of tyres: Tubeless Road, tubular, and tubeless Ready. The use of liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tyre will void the warranty.
Compound:
- An intermediate compiund configuration used in select mountain tyres. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better tread wear and less rolling resistance than 3C MaxxGrip.

Great performance!

Very good product. The measurement is what the description says (27.5x2.8) and the label they come with says 120 tpi, but the tire does not. These tires have very good grip, especially when used on the rear tire and combining them with a DHF front tire makes a total difference in the ride. They are very resistant and it is more worth having the EXO+ protection than EXO, since it has greater protection against punctures. They also have great braking capacity and for the price they are one of the best on the market for this size.

One of the best rear tires for electric full tires. The reinforced side of the tire is it. It is durable because I have done 1300 km on the reviews so far and it is still in good condition.

I've been using this tire on my Scott E-Spark for a number of years. I had almost no breakdown (s) with these tires. The driving behavior is also very good for me! I will continue to rely on Maxxis tires in the future. Before that, I had Schwalbe tires and had constant puncture protection problems! I feel very well looked after at Maxxis.

Maybe not the fastest tire nor the long lasting option in plus size tire, but his behavior on the trail is predictable and it delivers what it was conceived for : traction, grip and breaking efficiency... That's what I want for my rear one.

Molt bon pneumåtic per e-bike. L'utilitzo to the Rode of Darrera. És tou per aixó molt bon grip tea. It is worn out with ease. The canvio cap als 1500 kms. I wanted to order an additional product but it was not in stock. M'han returned the diners to the cap of pocs dies.

Great tire, great price. DHRII is the benchmark of rear tires... Great grip gives confidence in berms and in emergency stopping while the EXO+ casing had the assurance that you would not flat on sharp rocks without adding too much weight and keeping the flanc smooth enough to maintain traction. A must have !
