This is my second Tectal purchase after crashing and burying my head in the dirt pretty hard which put a pretty substantial dent in the side of my previous one. Excellently built helmet with plenty of ventilation and comfortable padding, highly adjustable supports and straps and plenty of hidden features that you may never see or use unless you hit the deck but really work well if you do. I was between sizes and sized up on my first Tectal but found it only just adjust down small enough so second time round I sized down and it’s just right. So if you measure up right in the middle of the sizing crossover I would recommend going the size down for a solid fit. Also be aware of the visor adjustment screw in the middle of the visor as the first one on my first Tectal rattled out on the first lap of an xc race. I found the coloured part in the dirt but the black backing nut was gone for good. Easy to replace but not cheap and may not be easy to get in some areas.
