Polar Verity Sense is a versatile high-quality optical heart rate sensor that measures heart rate from your arm or temple. Polar Verity Sense is a great alternative to heart rate chest straps and wrist-based devices.
It comes with an armband and a swimming goggle strap clip, and it´s very easy to use. It has Polar´s reliable optical HR solution and transfers data via Bluetooth® and ANT+. You can record your workouts in the internal memory and transfer workout data to your phone afterwards or you can connect it to a compatible device and follow your heart rate in real time during your workout.

Очень удобный в использовании, можно приложить к виску под повязку на голове или на резинке с помощью держателя для очков для плавания из комплекта. Особенно актуально, если тренить в лонгсливе и под рукав пихать неудобно.

In competition I had problems with the chest straps, I either tightened them too much so they didn't slip to the point of being annoying, or I just tightened them and they slipped around my waist, having to reposition it in the middle of the race. The optical wrist sensors (Fenix 6, 7) in my case have never worked, not even tightening the strap until I strangled my wrist. The Polar VR is another story. It is super comfortable and comparing data with a Garmin HRM Pro band gives identical measurements. It has a small lag of approx. 1" in giving the measurement, but this is not a problem. I have already used it intensively and it has not given me any anomalous measurement. Being able to connect it simultaneously with the Fénix and the treadmill is a plus. The only negative point that I have found is not knowing when the battery is running out.

Having stopped using chest straps due to the poor usability of chest straps (always getting them wet, slipping, taking them off beforehand...), I am very pleased that there is a new generation of HR straps that are very accurate and easy to use are. This strap can be used for swimming on the forehead, for all other activities on the forearm or upper arm. The accuracy is very good, there is only a delay of about 5-10 seconds compared to a chest strap. The average heart rate fits perfectly.

Fits comfortably on my forearm and stays out of the way during exercise. It connects nicely to my Garmin Edge and to some, but not all of my Android health apps. Seems to be accurate and resopnsive. My only gripes: 1) The On/Off/Mode button is small and fiddly 2) There is no way to see battery levels until the low-power light starts flashing. Battery-level is not reported in the Polar app. I understand that this will be fixed in a future software/frimwear update

Hi, not sure about this specific config but I was able to successfully connect Polar Verity Sense as a HR sensor to my Sigma Rox 4.0 bike computer and Polar Pacer Pro watch in the same time through standard ANT+/Bluetooth connectivity as a external HR sensor. But it was in the HR sensor mode, still not sure how it works in the swimming mode.
