Amazing wool bib

Wool is the original tech fabric & these prove you will not find a simple substitute for their versatility; i rode a spring tour across New York in these & had temps ranging all the way from freezing to summer heat (75°) & rain at 55° & there’s no version of any synthetic bib able to bridge all those conditions, it’s a waste of time looking; and this is so comfortable, a truly clearly superior piece of kit you can wear all day long, for days going, & will never bother you. It is cozy when it’s cool & never bothered me in heat. Santini stuff is great in general but this really owns.

2-layer trousers (polyamide on the inside, wool on the outside) in a vintage look, cleanly crafted, comfortable modern seat padding, rather firm material (positive compression effect?), 2 layers possibly a little warm for hot days. Legs cut rather long (mine 1 therefore size smaller than usual), Eroica embroidery only on 1 leg. Compared to old wool trousers, mesh straps and seat padding are a huge advance, but not really appropriate for the era. If you can live with that: great, stylish pants especially for drivers of old steel legends. For the “sale” price of just under €90 you can’t go wrong.
