This saddle is well made and is very stable compared to other products. The rounded outer edges prevent the cycling shorts from being damaged. The smooth surface is a matter of taste. Depending on the cycling shorts, it rides great and the slipping depends on the material of the cycling shorts. The large opening in the middle of the saddle reduces numbness. If Selle's SLR fits you, this is the ultimate evolution of that saddle for you. a tiny bit slimmer width-wise vs the SLR Superflow carbon but otherwise exactly the same. a bit firmer but nothing uncomfortable. be wary of the 90kg weight limit as this doesn't seem to be part of comms.
