These levers are part of the base of the brand's range of road components - below them only the Tourney -, but they don't look like it. The operation is smooth and the rubber is pleasant to the touch. It's a pleasure to handle them. And the service was excellent: the product arrived a day ahead of schedule, well packaged and intact.

The product description did not state whether the cables came with the handles but all the necessary cables and shells were in the package. This positive surprise. Delivery was a few days slower than promised but the package arrived well packaged and intact.

Claris got the big advantage of prices (approx half of Tiagra similar items). It is Shimano quality, great for touring or gravel. Inside pack are also brake and shift cables with full housing set and cable end heads.
