Amazing looking pedals. Saved over 50$ by buying here, shipping took just over 10 days. Will use these on my commuting mountain bike but love that i now have the option to clip in for those longer rides. All metal, these pedals should last a lifetime. Came covered in some kind of greasy lubricant all over though - not a deal breaker.

In recommended use it says it is for gravel cycling. The question is whether it can be used for MTB, in SPD mode for climbs and straights and in platform mode for technical descents and trials. I don´t do competitive mtb cycling.

The pedal shaft has a standard 9/16"×20tpi (14.29mm×1.27mm) thread that threads into the crank arm. The left pedal threads counterclockwise. The right pedal threads clockwise. Just like all modern Shimano pedals.
