Shimano RX8 Gravel Shoes have been designed for practice mountain biking, gravel, and adventure, so they give rigidity, lightness, balance, durability, custom fit, efficiency, and stability you need to pedal steadily to the finish line.
These cycling shoes are made with a carbon fiber compound outsole and TPU studs that are ultra-resistant to abrasions. The Shimano Dynalast technology saves energy by reducing pedaling force and promoting softer movements.
The upper has leather with small outings that favor breathability while the Silvadur technology controls the effects of moisture inside, antimicrobial agents, and guarantees hygiene. These MTB shoes include wrap pattern that provides support and full comfort and a lacing system with BOA IP1 and a Velcro strap.

No opinion on the function since our roads are snow covered, but the quality and size are excellent. I have RC7s and the 42 in the RX8 is the same. The order tracking is excellent, as well as the delivery time in this time of pandemic, thank you BikeInn.

I do have some top XC shoes to compare. S-works XC, Shimano XC90, NW Ghost. And RX8 looks very competitive among them. Very comfortable, extremely light and stiff. Maybe the only downside is the absence of studs. But I intend to use RX8 for XCM mainly. I had some awareness but I like the lacing pattern with 1 BOA dial. And you could control the pressure in both directions (without a quick release). And taking into account 180 I am very happy with this purchase. So let them a good race
