I was thinking of a Garmin Varia light

It will not fit the seat post, the diameter is very large even with the inner rubber

i use sigma but might fit. a very solid clamp!

I would not be sure if the Garmin Light design would be compatible with the twist and clip feature of the Sigma Clamp. I can only be certain of the Sigma Clamp being suitable with most Sigma Cycle Computer models.

In theory, it is possible to attach Clamp to a seat post. To ensure a compatible fit, check the seat post diameter is of similar size to handlebar diameter. Note that reading the Cycle Computer information would be difficult if mounted to the seat post.
