Always stable when riding in any intensity - certainly better than my first Garmin HR sensor. The Sigma works perfectly with my Garmin ANT +. I bought this because my previous Sigma sensor was lost after a group trip to the Pyrenees. I had the problem with the clips of the battery cover with this one as indicated by others, but it was after a few battery changes when I was not too careful to get it correctly. I spent another 2 seasons with the cover taped without worries.
