In 25 years of mountain biking, it's the first time I've worn shoes with a carbon plate. In a course of 26.3 km that I use for fast training, doing less than 1h requires pedaling with some effort. The first time I went out with these shoes, I did the route in less than 1h without much effort. The carbon plate really allows you to maximize the power put into the pedals. Otherwise, they are very beautiful and adjust perfectly to the feet. Measure your foot with a tape measure and choose the size above between 0.5 to 1.0 cm.

Perfect last for wide feet, if you are one of those with a long foot, these shoes are not for you. Always order a size larger than usual. They weigh very little, they are very rigid, but on the other hand they have little block to walk, so you will have to be careful if your routes are a lot to get off the bike because you are going to destroy them.
