It seems to be of quality, it comes greased and it is very easy to assemble, simply once the chain and the pin are in place, you have to press the rear brake while we try to advance with the pedal, that way the pin will go to its position.

For an 8-speed Bh Spike bike with a Shimano group but I don´t know why with a KMC Z51 chain, do you recommend it or is it better to continue with KMC or look at Shimano? Would this be similar in quality, the Z51 or the HG40? Thank you

I think they are all balanced in terms of quality/price and don´t call into question the operation, so either look for the brand of the transmission, in this case Shimano or look for the best ratio/price.

KMC is better the X8 very similar to the HC 40. Even better from my perspective is the SRAM pc830

I recently bought it to also change it to a Rockrider with 3 chainrings and 8v, it has been perfect, the only thing on mine I had to remove 4 links, with a chain tool without problem.
