These are my first SRAM levers from the AXS family I have used. I usually have Shimano or Campagnolo but at this price point, ease of use and setup they are a great option at this price point to get into the AXS system. After my first ride I have been thoroughly happy with the purchase.

Can the hoses be swapped over when installing the shifters so the right lever controls the front brake and the left lever controls the rear brake?

It comes with the brake calliper system as well. It is factory bled as well. If you are careful during installation you can avoid having to bleed the system

No, its shaped to the left side only. but axs controls the rear derailleur with both the right and left shifters so this does also shift the rear derailleur
