I bought a carbon one for my custom Grevel.
All-round street cassette

I bought the cassette for my gravel bike, which was originally equipped with the 10-44 cassette. For driving in the city, 44 is too big for me and the gaps in the small sprockets are too high. The 10-30 would be ideal for me, but it is not compatible with my rear derailleur. The 10-36 is a good compromise. Works perfectly with the Rival XPLR, is distributed finely enough at the bottom and leaves room for steep climbs at the top. There's nothing wrong with the quality. Assembly - it couldn't be easier. I'm completely satisfied!

Lower price for good quality product. Order took a little bit longer to process after purchased date and then longer to get it, since it was coming from outside the country. Other than that, everything is Ok.

Mounted on the second set of wheels, to do light gravel. It remains to be tested, but it seems to go well with the force.

This cassette is very reliable and the 10-36 option is the one that best adapts to different styles of cycling, being excellent for climbing and not losing ratio when on flat or descents. Great price.
Good

Nice cassette. I went for the 10-36 option and I do appreciate the low-end ratio in the climbs. I did not feel any cadence issues in the higher-end also (it has a bigger gap compared to 10-33).

Compatibility of this cassette with exchange

Hello, instead of using this cassette with an electronic shifter, can I use a Sram Apex Eagle D1 mechanical rear shifter? Please answer!
Answer of alp
Specification says, Apex Eagle D1 is suitable for cassettes with 10-50, 10-52 oder 11-50 teeth gradation. Also this cassette uses AXS chain but Eagle requires Eagle chains. So I think will not be good to use with Eagle
Answer of Andrea
Yes, the cassettes work on both electronic and manual gearboxes, the important thing is that the number of speeds corresponds, for example this one in question is 12 speeds. Hello
Answer of Arne
Hey, I would not recommend this. The apex eagle shifter is designed to work with bigger cassettes, you should look at getting a cassette size of between 50 - 52 teeth

Hello, I just bought this cassette and I would like your help in choosing the compatible chain and gear, to buy here on the website, for this cassette.
Answer of antoni
The change would be put by Rival, as for the chain, I don´t know if there is a Rival, but rather one that you like for twelve speeds, average price, neither the most expensive nor the cheapest.
Answer of alp
I am using this chain https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sram-force-axs-road-chain/137122072/p and quite happy with it
Answer of Arne
You can use any of the SRAM D1 chains. The price goes up depending on the range. https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sram-apex-d1-flattop-chain-with-powerlock/139580477/p https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sram-force-d1-flattop-powerlock-chain/138079755/p https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sram-red-d1-flattop-chain-with-powerlock/139580511/p For a rear derailleur you have many options, depends on what you are looking for...
cassette compatibility

Good afternoon, I have a sram force 10/33 cassette, I would like to know if the sram rival 10/36 cassette can be mounted on my bike.
Answer of alp
I am already using it with my Force system and did not experience any issue.
Answer of Arne
It depends on your rear derailleur, if it is rated to for a max of 36 then it will be fine. There is no difference between the spacing of the rival and the force, I believe that it is mostly material and weight where they are different. So as long as your rear derailleur can handle a 36 tooth cassette then you can make the switch.
Compatibility Rival 10-36 cassette with SRAM Red etsp axs 12v 48/35
30/04/2023
Gian Paolo Lazari
I would like to know if the Rival 10-36 cassette is compatible with the SRAM Red etsp axs 12s 48-35 rear derailleur currently with a 10-33 cassette. Thank you
Answer of Arne
I believe that this should be fine. The etap range consist of the normal road group sets that support up to 10-36, If you are currently running a 10-33 then that means you are running a road groupset. So in that vein, you should be able to use this (10-36) with that derailleur. I have a 10-33 as well as a 10-36 and the work perfectly fine with my derailleur.
10-36t cassette and chain change
31/01/2023
Héctor
I have a rival axs system with a 10-30t and would like to know if i install this cassette (10-36t) if i need to change the chain. And if so, tell me which chain I should use. Thanks!!
Answer of Arne
Yes, you need to make the chain longer. If you wanted to do it the other way around then there would be no issue with the chain as 33t sits below the 36t number. You can use any of the sram 12 speed chains from my understanding, as long as it is made for the sram axs 12 speed drivetrains Rival chain: https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sram-rival-axs-road-chain/138194098/p Force chain: https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sram-force-axs-road-chain/137122072/p Red chain: https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sram-red-e-tap-axs-road-chain/137131056/p I would go for the force chain as it has the most value to weight ratio.

Sram XG1250 Rival Wide AXS Cassette 10-36; is this the normal cassette for sram rival axs etap, i’m confused about the ‘wide’. Looks like it’s for mullit.
Answer of Arne
I just recently got this cassette and I am no expert on the matter. But from what I understand, the wide just means that it has a bigger "wider" gear ratios and it is something that you are more likely to see on a gravel bike, so I think here they just refer to it as a gravel cassette. I have this cassette set up on my normal etap axs road groupset just fine.
Answer of Robeer
Yes, is the default. The Rival rear derailleur with a medium-long rear derailleur cage can have up to 36 teeth. Alternatively, there is a 10-30 in the Rival version, and of course it is sufficient if you drive with two chainrings at the front.
