Very good product.
The correct sprocket progression is different than reported, due to being 9v and not 10v.
11-13-15-18-21-24-28-34-40.

These 9 speed cassettes with a range of 11-40 are just the ticket for me. I prefer these to the 11-42 11 speed cassette on my other bike.The shipping was fast and the price was the best.

Stock cassette with my ebike sucks, limited 9 speed cassette. This makes up for the lack of range in the gears. Tested on a 95km ride to Chilliwack Lake, 10 kms extra of Forest Service Roads, and back home again in the mountains of BC, Canada all while hauling a Coho XC trailer loaded with gear. Solid steel, good range, worth it.

Core and shifting compatible?

The core of my bike is Shimano and the Shimano Deore LX 9v gearbox. 1. Is this cassette compatible? 2. In the specifications it says that it is 9 speeds and yet in the pinions it specifies ten (9 speeds 11,12,14,16,18,21,24,28,34,40) I imagine that the latter is an error and Is the cassette 9 speed?

... the sprocket set actually has 9 speeds and the gear ratio is as follows: 11-13-16-18-21-24-28-34-40. It is perfectly compatible with the Shimano LX 9v cassette.

Good morning. My bike is equipped with a Shimano CS-HG400-9 cassette (9 speeds from 11 to 34 teeth). A Shimano ACERA RD-M360 derailleur (roller center distance = 80mm). A Shimano ALIVIO 2 way-release SLM 4000 shifter. I would like to equip it with a Sun-Race 980 cassette (9 speeds 11-40 teeth). Is it possible? should something be changed? Thank you for your reply.

Hello, I had to mount a dropout extender. And it works perfectly, even with a 46-tooth single chainring

Good morning. You will have to change the chain and certainly extend the rear derailleur hanger otherwise the roller will touch the large sprocket

Yes, it is perfectly compatible. It works very well. You must add a derailleur hanger extender so that the derailleur does not touch the last 2 sprockets.
