At first I think it is only for bottom bracket. What you are looking for is a wheel bearing extractor. Although this could still be used with an adapter.

Is this tool also used to remove press fit cups, apart from installing them?

This tool´s function is to install the cups and bearings. To extract are: Super b TB-1928A for 30mm cups and bearings... which are for BB30 and PF30. Super b TB-1927A for 24mm bearings... which are for BB86, BB90 and PF30.

What´s up greetings. The internal diameter of the adapters hole is 10.24 mm. And the diameter of the rod is 9.43 mm. Measurements were taken with a digital Vernier.
