I bought it for a 11s chain, but it could not be opened wide enough to lock the Shimano chain link. I've seen 2 options: remove the stopper pin, or widen the cutout with a grinder. I went with the 2nd option, now it works properly. For the price I would say it's OK.

I have one bought in China that doesn't convince me, it's small and you can barely leverage it to open it, and it doesn't work to close it. With this one from Bike Inn at such a good price, it is much more comfortable to both open and close the quick links, highly recommended.

The tool looks good but it was useless at the time of use because the rivet that limits the travel to insert and remove the quick link does not leave enough travel to do so. I saw that rivet off the tool with a saw and it already has enough travel to work perfectly.

This is the first time that I put the Quick-Link attachment, I have always assembled the chains with an axis; I had to change the chain, I took an angled circlip pliers, to assemble it with force. I bought this tool, which is Very Good, which I would use on my other bike.

As you know quick links are no longer that quick to install and remove, most chain manufacturers have made them so tight that you need a special tool and this one does the job perfectly!

For €8.49 I was expecting this to be a bit cheep and clumsy to use but I was amazed with the quality and how easy it is to use. It's a similar to the Shimano one but it's a fraction of the price and confident to say just as good if not better
