Fly over the trails on the lightest and fastest tyre inserts. Vittoria Air-Liner Light is the new insert for mountain bike tubeless tYres that enhances the performances and capabilities of the wheel-tyre system for Cross-Country, Down-Country and Trail applications. Developed with XC pro riders and mechanics, and used at the MTB World Cup stages, Air-Liner Light is the lightest and fastest insert for tubeless mtb tyres available in the market. Air-Liner Light is imperceptible and keeps the bike handling agile and fast. The insert allows for the progressive compression of the tyre when the tyre is under load. By doing so, Air-Liner Light enhances the ride feel while increasing stability and grip. In case of a tyre puncture and consequent air loss, Air-Liner Light expands, offering the tyre support you need to reach the tech area to change the wheel, or the finish line, with minimal time loss. Air-Liner Light also maximizes the tire puncture protection. Thanks to the unique foam formulation, the insert allows for extreme shock absorption and prevents tyre punctures caused by heavy impacts with the rim walls (snake bites). Air-Liner Light is compatible with mountain bike tyre sizes 29”x2.1” up to 29”x2.4”, with rim channels 25mm up to 30 mm wide, and with any type of liquid sealant. Air-Liner Light must be used in combination with tubeless tyres and multiway tubeless valves only. The packaging of Air-Liner Light contains one insert and one Vittoria Green Multiway Tubeless valve 40mm long.

Excellent product. I use another brand, this one is much lighter, a different material. I really liked the new format. It allows the sealant to rotate more freely inside the wheel, the valve works very well and quickly to calibrate the tire, and the new format protects the rim much better as the tire.

Mounted on the rear wheel of my Foxy 29 R with a tacky chan tire in super trail casing. Once installed, the breakdown of tubeless tires is made easier. On outings, I feel good when it comes into action and holds the tire on landings with a slightly underinflated tire. Very happy with my purchase for the moment even if I go a little outside the recommended use program.

On the front wheel it works very well, it allows lower inflation pressure, with greater grip and maneuverability. Not easy to install on some rigid casing tyres.

Is there a 27.5 version? Can I cut the 29" version down to fit 27.5?

The 29" version does not fit a 27.5" wheel. It consists of 1 piece made to measure.

The insert is ready for 29" wheels, it is already welded, so you will find it ready to insert like an inner tube. You could adapt it to a 27.5" wheel by cutting it to the right size and then fixing it with a clamp or gluing it.

Hello, this product is specific for rims with a width of 25-30mm. If you use it on narrower rims, you will not be able to fit the muse between the sides of the tire and the rim, causing two problems. The first is that it will be very difficult for you to bead the tire when you mount it. The second is that if you have a puncture because the muse is not fitted inside the rim, the possibility of de-beading the tire and the muse will be very high. In short, I would not mount it on rims smaller than 25mm.

Hi, I used normal Stands latex, in the 80ml quantity as described in the manual contained in the box. The package also includes a valve with an internal nozzle specific for the inserts, which allows you to inject the sealant without problems.
