I pull my 9 year old son up big climbs and it works perfectly and with an electric bike I don't even feel that I'm pulling him! It is very compact, it attaches to the saddle and not to the seat tube, which is perfect when you have a telescopic tube. Very good purchase! I recommend !

The product is easy to assemble and simple. If I had to improve something it would be the tie to the saddle, the rope is a little short and it is difficult to tighten it well. It is comfortable to wear and more than enough to drag my 4 year old son around and it may last about 4 more years. The linkage to the stem, which was what I doubted the most due to the type of power on my son's bike, since it does not have much protrusion, but everything was still firmly attached and did not come loose even if he tried to overtake me on the flat.

Very practical drag system. It is light, easy to install and works correctly. Suitable for dragging children between 4-10 years old. I think that with a child+bike weight of up to 50kg it is adequate, with more weight to drag you have to consider a more robust system.
First test successful!

The first test on the only incline in the neighborhood, a motorway bridge on the outskirts of Munich, went very well! The loop held securely on my son's stem, even though the depression between the two stem clamping screws is very small! Even curves, in our reasonably tight slalom up the driveway, went without any problems. The release at the end of the climb worked right away, both times. The tow cord could be loosened without any problems and rolled itself up in a flash without making contact with the rear tire. I slowed down to take the tension off the line, then my son was able to remove the loop with a flick of the wrist, done! We stopped briefly to attach it, but with a little practice I think it's possible without stopping. I can't say anything about durability yet, but the product looks very well thought out and of high quality. I trust there will be no disappointment. I chose Zefal because it's cheap on the one hand, but also because I wanted a system that can be unhooked without stopping and doesn't have to be stowed away separately. Fastening at the top of the saddle reduces the risk of tangling in the rear wheel.I also knew Zefal from other products such as mudguards or a pump and I had always had good experiences with this manufacturer. I hope this helps you with your choice.

I use a Zefal tow rope to tow a 5-year-old child weighing 30 kg. It works flawlessly. I have not tried towing an adult. For towing an adult it is probably useful up to a certain weight of the rider and the bike. Certainly not suitable for a heavy rider. If you have a dropper seat then I recommend lowering it while towing an adult.
